Silverstrand is seeking an experienced Concrete Pump Operators to support a complex FIFO structures project.
FIFO project from Brisbane (or FNQ) to Townsville - Project 5 hours west of Townsville.
2/1 Roster - Start - January 2026
$64.35 P/H + OT + $70 Daily Allowance
Flights, Camp Accommodation, Meals and Bus from Airport to Camp provided.
Must complete - Pre-Employment Medical (including D/A test). (Medical must be completed in December)
Scope of works for Pump to assist with - FRP Formwork Walls, Tunnel Lining, Inlet Shafts, etc.
Concrete Pump Operator must have the following skills/experience:
Experience with Operating a Concrete Boom Pump and line pump
Confident operating both a 20m, 42m pump or larger
Min 5+ years in the civil construction industry
Ability to take direction and work independently
Ability to undertake start to finish setup and completion of projects
Able to do prep work, box up, basic formwork, screeding, operating of trowel machine, pour - if required
General Labouring - if required

We’re seeking a CERTLOC Certified Utility Locator to join our growing operations team based at either Burton or Lonsdale South Australia. This field-based role involves locating underground utility services using advanced technologies such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Induction (EMI).
You’ll play a key role in supporting infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate data collection, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Locate underground assets using GPR and EMI
Interpret utility maps, DBYD plans, and aerial imagery
Submit detailed utility reports upon job completion
Manage permit requests and client documentation
Train team members on asset location tools
Maintain and troubleshoot locating equipment
Shifts generally commencing at 6am, finishing at 6pm with lots of overtime available!

Browning Contractors is seeking skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Operators to operate street sweepers on Tier 1 civil and infrastructure projects across Adelaide and surrounding areas.
This is a casual role offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team on landmark projects.
Operate a street sweeper vehicle to clean and maintain roads, streets, and other paved areas.
Ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation of the sweeper equipment.
Monitor and maintain the sweeper in good working condition.
Conduct basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues or defects.

General Duties & Plant Operator – X Two Positions - December 2025
These roles generally works a four-day, 38 hour week roster out of the Cummins Depot of Council, with the main duties being:
• Road maintenance - sealed roads;
• Surface repairs,
• Kerbs,
• Stormwater infrastructure (grates, entry pits, headwalls and outfalls)
• Directional and other sign infrastructure/assets
• Road maintenance - unsealed roads:
• Stormwater infrastructure (pipes, headwalls and outfalls)
• Guideposts, directional signs and other sign infrastructure/assets
• Footpath and road verge maintenance (weed control, mowing, tree trimming);
• Parks, gardens, cemeteries, public toilets and playgrounds;
• Jetties, boat ramps and other coastal infrastructure;
• Minor construction projects (e.g. footpaths, playground equipment); and
The successful applicants will be self-motivated team players and demonstrate an enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Salary and conditions of employment will be at Grade 2 or 3 (depending upon experience) in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, currently between $70,602 and $75,048 per annum.
