The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Foreman / Leading Hand to join our passionate team for an upcoming project located in Avalon, Northern Sydney. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll lead on-site operations and work closely with a dedicated Contracts Administrator and Site team. This opportunity offers flexibility to come on board either as a direct employee or as a subcontractor, depending on your preference.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
• Overseeing on-site operations and coordinating daily activities for commercial fit-outs across Retail, Office, Hospitality, and Medical sectors, with the immediate project based in Avalon
• Ensuring all construction is delivered in compliance with Australian standards
• Implementing and maintaining quality control processes
• Managing QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) systems and ensuring compliance
• Establishing and managing site operations
• Managing project programs and schedules
• Coordinating design and ensuring alignment with project requirements
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers effectively
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
• Minimum 2 years' local experience as a Site Foreman, ideally within fit-out projects
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• A solid understanding of construction phases and workflows
• A proactive, relationship-driven approach to project delivery
