The Role:

We’re seeking a tertiary-qualified and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction and a proven track record delivering complex projects valued over $5M. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience, particularly in high-security environments, including work with federal government agencies, defense clients, and sensitive infrastructure projects.

As Project Manager, you’ll work closely with company leadership and be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of allocated projects - overseeing safety, program, commercial, and quality outcomes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. A solid understanding of construction methodologies and the ability to resolve complex site issues is essential.

You’ll be supported by a committed site/project team and senior management, and will be expected to lead with confidence, communicate effectively, and drive results.

Desired Experience:

  • On-site commercial construction project management, including contract administration
  • Experience managing projects in secure environments (e.g., defense, federal government, critical infrastructure)
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements
  • Pre- and post-contract negotiation skills at both Head Contract and Subcontract levels
  • Financial management including cash flow, cost reporting, forecasting, and claims
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timeframes
  • WHS and safety compliance and reporting
  • Team leadership and client liaison skills
  • Professionalism, integrity, and adaptability across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and willingness to learn project-specific software

About the Role:
A well-established residential construction company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join its growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of residential building practices and a passion for delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects from concept through to tender submission.
  • Interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specifications to assess project scope and requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to obtain pricing and ensure accurate costings.
  • Evaluate project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate cost overruns.

The Role

Site Manager for a brand new project in Margate.  You will be responsible for all program, safety, and quality outcomes.  You will be supported by a Project Manager, CA, Cadet and Finishing Foreman, as well as a Safety resource.   A well-resourced team for a relatively small project and simple methodology.

The Project

This social housing project has a build value of circa $18m and will consist of a mix of 60 studio, 1 and 2 bed apartments.   There is a carpark on ground level with 6 levels of accommodation above. 

About You

To be considered for the role you will be a carpenter by trade and have a QBCC Open Site Supervisors License.   You will have at least 3+ years’ experience as a Site Manager on multi-level structures, preferably apartments and for the Principal Contractor. 

You will be used to operating with the systems and processes involved with Tier 2 commercial contracting and be a proven leader.

You will have a firm but fair relationship with your trades.   You will drive productivity on site and provide a clean and safe environment for your trades to succeed.   You will be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written).

You will program 2,4 & 6 weeks ahead, be used to running crane boards and delivery schedules and hold regular subby meetings to set expectations and mitigate/resolve any challenges.

There is a salary of up to $230k + Super for the right candidate.   You will have continuity of work in the northern suburbs and the opportunity to provide support on future ECI’s with methodology and program.

About the role

Sutton Concreting is seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor/Leading Hand Concreter to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. This is a casual position working approximately 50 hours per week. There is opportunity for the position to grow into permanent and for further growth in the company.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our concrete pouring and finishing crews, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. This role is an "on the tools role" reporting to the directors.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and directing a team of concreters, ensuring their work is completed efficiently and to specifications

  2. Monitoring quality control and health and safety processes on site

  3. Providing hands-on support and guidance to the concrete pouring and finishing crews
