AIB provides building and rectification services in Greater Sydney on behalf of large national insurance companies. Our work encompasses full construction, emergency repairs and maintenance work within the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. The role:
We are seeking a building professional to:
Attend sites across Coffs Harbour and surrounding area's
Manage customers expectations and provide regular updates to insurer and clients
Manage multiple projects at any given time
Liaise with loss adjusters and insurance contacts
Schedule and manage trades
Manage repair budgets and adhere to client KPI's
Complete all WHS required – including risk assessments and SWMS when required
Attend emergency make safe jobs and be a part of the AIB after hours on-call roster
Candidate requirements:
Minimum 5 years' building experience
Minimum 1+ years' insurance industry experience required
Positive outlook and work well in a team environment
Relevant licenses and tertiary education - Cert IV Building & Construction / carpentry License preferred
Minimum Certificate III qualification required
Extensive knowledge of WHS and the BCA
Ability to access and provide roofing reports preferred
Ability to work in a team environment
Customer focused and professional attitude
Ability to handle pressure
Good problem solving skills and pro active personality
Friendly and personable manner
Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
