About the role
We are seeking nine School Operations Assistants to join teams across multiple Schools.
As a School Operations Assistant, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the School by providing high-quality administrative support. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow established processes are essential. You will also contribute to broader Faculty and School initiatives, working collaboratively within a supportive, multifunctional team to assist with operational activities and strategic projects. Previous experience in PA or EA roles and related skills will be highly regarded.

We are looking for a person who can help run a busy small business office in Port Lincoln. We would like someone with previous office administration experience, including invoicing, debtor control, scheduling and planning, and customer service. The person we would like will be able to help us improve our business, be pro-active in a small team, have a friendly & confident phone manner, and a high level of computer knowledge, plus be fun to work with.
Qualifications & experience
Experience in office administration, including accounting software (ideally Xero) and other programs
Good communication skills
Knowledge of Eyre Peninsula

Dedicated to providing quality and exceptional service to clients

Tasks & responsibilities
Invoicing, debtor control and general administration duties

Staff scheduling and logistics - booking work for technicians (no cold calling)
Helping customers and staff
Prioritising what is important to operations

As a Trainee Asset Officer you will complete a Certificate IV in Government, whilst gaining valuable information and industry experience in a supportive environment. The traineeship will commence in early 2026.
This role supports the Parks and Open Space Strategic Asset Management Team by assisting in the management of open space infrastructure assets through tasks such as onsite (outdoor) inspections, data entry, and administrative support. The role supports accurate asset information and contributes to informed planning and decision-making across a range of strategic and operational functions within Council.
Essential criteria
Commencing salary: $827.40 - $947.70 per week, plus 12% Superannuation.
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.

What is the Role?
The ERA is seeking a curious and organised professional to join us on a permanent basis as Business Support Officer within the Energy Markets Division.
The Business Support Officer plays a critical role in providing high-level executive and business support to the Energy Markets Division. This position ensures the smooth operation of the Division by managing a wide range of administrative and coordination tasks.
You will learn about what goes into keeping the lights on from Geraldton, out to Kalgoorlie, across the greater Perth Metropolitan area and down the south of the state. One day you could be managing our annual Energy Markets Forum where we engage with key external stakeholders, the next you might be managing wrangling public consultation submissions to help the team understand the concerns and input of the same stakeholders so we can deliver guidance to the market and support the effective functioning of the South West Interconnected System.
You will be working with a passionate group of people who are committed to making sure we are a proactive and effective regulator. You will be responsible for organising and managing internal and external meetings, assisting the Division in meeting legislative deadlines for the preparation and publication of reports and consultation papers, and undertaking small research and analytical projects. A key part of the role is supporting the delivery of projects, ensuring that internal processes and procedures are consistently applied across all activities.
In addition, you will assist staff with procurement and purchasing activities, while maintaining accurate and compliant records within the ERA’s record management system.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proactive approach, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve the Division’s objectives.
