Due to continued growth within their basements and civil division, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role in the business.
  
Your new role
  • Working closely with the Director and senior leadership team, you will manage end-to-end estimating activities across basement, excavation, and civil packages.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and feasibility assessments for upcoming projects.
  • Lead pricing reviews, trade breakups, and subcontractor evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure accurate project handovers and ongoing cost tracking.
  • Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Engage with clients, consultants, and suppliers to build and maintain strong commercial relationships.

  
What you need to succeed
  • Proven experience in a Senior Estimator or Estimator position within the civil or structural construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of basements, earthworks, retention systems, piling, and concrete structures.
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Local experience is highly regarded; international exposure (UK/NZ/USA) also considered.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to cost planning and tender preparation.
