We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a leading residential developer builder in Sydney's south inner city.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the technical and engineering aspects of all projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and adhere to project specifications. You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate engineering and construction activities for multiple projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and quality control measures.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and clients to address and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the class 2 residential construction sector successfully completing projects over $60 million
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
