About The OpportunityThe Estimator will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and high-quality estimates for both residential and commercial building projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare detailed estimates for quotes, variations, reports, and settlements.
- Review project documents to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with clients, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers for accurate pricing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost trends.
- Manage competing priorities, improve estimating processes, and deliver on time.
- Collaborate across teams and represent our client professionally.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2–3 years’ estimating experience in construction with strong technical knowledge.
- Skilled in estimating software, detail-oriented, & able to work under pressure.
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, & team-oriented attitude.
- Desirable: insurance estimating experience & knowledge of QBCC/HBCF.
- Desirable: degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
