THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dynamic Head of People & Culture to lead the HR and people strategy across our multi-office real estate network. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of People & Culture, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and wellbeing initiatives. You will be a key driver in shaping the culture, supporting growth, and ensuring the business continues to attract and retain top talent.
This is a high-impact position, perfectly suited for a proactive, collaborative leader who thrives balancing hands-on HR delivery with strategic leadership.
THE SALARY:
$112,000 per annum
THE TEAM SIZE:
Oversight of approximately 80 staff, and growing.
LOCATION:
Melbourne’s West, with travel between offices as required
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement, and manage HR processes, policies, and frameworks (newly created role)
Lead recruitment and onboarding initiatives across multiple offices
Manage performance development programs, including 1:1 reviews and coaching
Drive People & Culture initiatives that enhance engagement, retention, and wellbeing
Oversee leave management, entitlements, and HR compliance
Foster an inclusive and culturally diverse workplace, demonstrating awareness, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills
Provide strategic input to Directors on organisational development, culture, and employee experience
REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE:
Experience in real estate (or closely related industries) is essential. Previous exposure to multi-office operations and familiarity with the unique challenges of real estate teams will be highly valued.
