About the Role:
Our client is currently looking for a Facilities Manager for a commercial building in Western Sydney. The role will be supporting the Facilities Management team in the delivery of day-to-day building operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s proactive, keen to learn, and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
You’ll work closely with Senior Facilities Managers to ensure the smooth running of building services across a major A-grade commercial asset.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Facilities Managers with day-to-day operations across commercial buildings
- Coordinate and oversee contractors for preventative and reactive maintenance
- Conduct site inspections and report on building performance and compliance
- Support delivery of services including HVAC, fire, electrical, lifts, plumbing, cleaning and security
- Maintain work order tracking and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues
Requirements:
- Trade qualification or strong technical background highly desirable
- Previous experience in a commercial facilities or building operations role
- Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Ability to work autonomously while taking direction from senior FMs
- Keen to grow within the FM industry and open to learning
