What this opportunity involves:
Join JLL as an Assistant Transaction Manager supporting one of our prestigious client who is a leader in their industry. This integral role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse retail portfolio while working alongside a team of experienced Transaction Managers and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
You will contribute directly to the success of a major client while developing your expertise in transaction management in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.
We have two vacancies in this team. Please note that one of the vacancies is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover.
The roles can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra or Brisbane with ability to attend the client’s office in the CBD three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Options Papers including site searches and market sweeps to support strategic decision-making
Support various transactions including market rent reviews, option exercises, lease renewals, and new site selections
Manage divestment activities including landlord notices and make-good negotiations
Coordinate sub-leasing opportunities for surplus space and manage critical lease dates
Establish client communication lines and conduct regular stakeholder meetings
Support portfolio-level budgeting processes and property strategy development
Champion transaction technology implementation, training, and business process development
Ensure all activities meet contractual obligations and manage conflicts of interest
Key Skills & Requirements
1 to 2 years of experience in property transactions and associated services
Tertiary qualification in Property / Real Estate will be an added advantage
Current State Real Estate License/Sub-Agents Licence
Proven experience managing leases and lease obligations
Excellent written communication and business case preparation skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities
Solution-focused approach with strategic thinking abilities
Self-motivated with proven quality delivery track record
Resilient performer who thrives under pressure and identifies improvement opportunities

National Scope – Commercial & Rural Valuation
As the National Head of Compliance & Quality, you’ll oversee the consistency, accuracy, and compliance of valuation reporting across a top-tier national property valuation business.
This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the CEO, where you’ll provide leadership, training and strategic oversight to uphold compliance, reduce risk, and enhance systems across Australia and New Zealand.
The Role:
Review and audit valuation reports for completeness, accuracy and adherence to standards.
Identify areas for improvement and implement best-practice compliance systems.
Manage and maintain national report templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Oversee workflow processes and risk mitigation strategies.
Provide feedback and training to valuers to support continual improvement.
Lead system enhancements and data integrity projects across digital platforms.
Support the executive team on delegated compliance and quality initiatives.
What You’ll Bring:
Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) with significant commercial and rural experience.
Deep understanding of valuation compliance requirements within the banking sector.
Knowledge of CoreLogic and Valocity systems.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor valuers.
In-depth understanding of Australian and New Zealand Valuation Standards (and IVS).
API or RICS membership essential.
This role influences national practice standards and drives quality outcomes across one of the largest valuation networks in Australasia. If you’re a seasoned valuer with an eye for detail and a passion for quality, this role offers genuine scope to lead at the highest level.
