About You
You are an experienced, accountable, and proactive civil construction professional who is committed to safety and efficiency. You possess comprehensive knowledge of safe and efficient road construction and maintenance. You have the proven ability to organise and manage worksite activities with minimal supervision.
Criteria Category Role 1: Leading Hand Grader Operator (Construction) Role 2: Plant Operator (Grader) (Sealed Works) Experience/Qualifications Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent demonstrated experience), with extensive expertise in grader operations, including proven final trim capability. Demonstrated experience and ability in the operational procedures of a grader in a maintenance environment. Core Skills Proven ability to plan, organise, and carry out worksite activities with minimal supervision. Proven ability to organise and manage day-to-day worksite activities with minimal supervision, meeting productivity targets. Required Tickets/Licences
General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
Class LR Drivers Licence

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join the team. This is a full-time role based in our Melbourne office. As Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day plumbing operations, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard and within budget and timeframes.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the work of plumbing teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Monitor and report on project progress, budgets and timelines
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during projects
Provide training and guidance to junior plumbers to develop their skills
Contribute to the continuous improvement of plumbing processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Extensive experience as a Plumbing Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, building codes and safety regulations
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members
Ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets
Relevant trade qualifications and licences

About the Role
ES Partners is seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor and Commissioning Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across Melbourne. This pivotal role will see you own and drive all onsite installation and commissioning activities for complex projects spanning hundreds of megawatts of standby generation, power systems, and critical infrastructure.
You’ll be the key link between design, construction, and operations ensuring every system performs flawlessly through all stages of commissioning, right up to Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and handover.
This is a unique opportunity to join a business experiencing exceptional growth, renowned for its technical expertise and leadership within the data centre sector.
Note this is a 12 month contract, with the possibilty to extend.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors’ installation of generators and balance of plant (BOP) equipment.
- Plan, schedule and document delivery and installation of generators and BOP with stakeholders including the end client, builder, other contractors and subcontractors.
- Lead and coordinate all commissioning activities across multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop, review, and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and reports.
- Evaluate design documents to ensure systems are commissioning ready and operationally robust.
- Manage stakeholders across engineering, construction, and client commissioning teams.
- Oversee integrated system testing, ensuring seamless transition to operational status.
- Champion safety, quality, and technical excellence across all phases of the project lifecycle.
About You
You’re an experienced and hands-on leader with deep technical understanding and exceptional coordination skills. You thrive in complex environments where precision and performance are everything.
To succeed, you’ll bring:
- Electrical or Mechanical qualification (Degree or Trade).
- Onsite construction industry experience managing and supervising contractors, vendors, and client interfaces.
- Proven experience or exposure to commissioning large scale data centre infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of control systems, generators, and critical power plant.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, confident driving meetings and decisions.
