With a strong project pipeline and a reputation for quality delivery, they’re now looking to bring an experienced Fire Services Estimator into their team.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for estimating predominantly wet fire projects up to $1m in value. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, attention to detail, and strong commercial awareness are key. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to prepare competitive and compliant tenders.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for estimating predominantly wet fire projects up to $1m in value. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, attention to detail, and strong commercial awareness are key. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to prepare competitive and compliant tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for wet fire projects (sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel systems etc.)
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate take-offs
- Develop pricing using Excel-based estimating tools
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and technical input
- Work with internal delivery teams to ensure handover clarity and buildable solutions
- Contribute to tender submissions and value-engineering options
- Proven estimating experience within the fire protection industry (wet fire essential)
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and fire systems
- Strong Excel skills — comfortable working within spreadsheet-based estimating models
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents with precision
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Keen eye for detail and an organised, methodical approach
- Salary up to $150k + super + car based on experience
