Midolo Building Services Pty Ltd is a family run business servicing various high security commercial sites for government agencies. We have ongoing commercial maintenance contracts and have been in this industry for 30 years. We are based in O’Connor and carry outongoing maintenance and repairs across multiple sites all over the Perth Metro area.
About the role:
Work is varied from day-to-day maintenance such as framework repairs and onsite welding maintenance works to larger projects upgrading security, designing, manufacturing and installing. We have a large onsite workshop that includes a glazing area, timber workshop and welding area.
Skills required:
· Can do attitude with the ability to think outside the box.
· Willingness to learn.
· Clear communication skills.
· Have knowledge and know-how to execute small maintenance tasks unsupervised.
· Proficient in basic welding
· Ability to work within a team.
Applicant prerequisites:
· White card.
· Boilermaker trade certificate or relevant experience in welding and metal fabrication.
· Reading and interpreting technical drawings
· Valid driver licence.
· Ability to obtain working at heights ticket.
· Must be able to obtain a national police clearance.

Your Role
Carry out corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance in a high volume processing facility to keep processing machinery in optimal condition.
Regular fault finding and scheduled maintenance on PLCs, Hydraulics and Pneumatics. Previous experience in Automated Industrial machinery is a plus.
Diagnose and repair complex faults to maintain operational flow.
Record all maintenance activities accurately in SAP to support efficient planning.

Qualifications: Electrical Trade Qualification and QLD Electrical License

This is for a full time position , 4 days during the week plus Saturdays
Must be available for early morning starts (6am) and weekend work including Saturdays
A typical day would look like:
6am start time, icing and filling chocolate eclairs and puffs, Filling and preparing vanilla slices and fruit tarts.
Assembling petite fours ready for sale, decorating mousse, mud cakes and cream cakes ready for sale.
Decorating customer cakes according to customers requests.
We use a lot of soft fondant to ice sponge cakes and also some royal icing/plastic icing work is involved.
Making and producing cakes/ biscuits/slices and savouries such as pies and sausage rolls.
Cleaning work benches and using a dishwasher at the end of the day.
Finish time 2pm
You will also be working with others so good communication is vital.
We are looking for someone with good attention to detail self motivated pro active with an artistic flair as a lot of the work we do, you have free rein.
