We have ongoing commercial maintenance contracts and have been in this industry for 30 years. We are based in O’Connor and carry outongoing maintenance and repairs across multiple sites all over the Perth Metro area.

About the role:

Work is varied from day-to-day maintenance such as door, wall, ceiling and window repairs, tiling, skylight and roof leak repairs to larger projects upgrading security, designing, manufacturing and installing. We have a large onsite workshop that includes a glazing area, timber workshop and welding area.

Skills required:

·         Can do attitude with the ability to think outside the box.

·         Willingness to learn.

·         Clear communication skills.

·         Have knowledge and know-how to execute small maintenance tasks unsupervised.

·         Proficient in basic carpentry repairs.

THE OPPORTUNITY


This role is based in Dapto, NSW, where you’ll be responsible for completing daily cleaning tasks at your assigned site. In addition, you’ll support a small team of cleaners across nearby centres—providing troubleshooting assistance, conducting scheduled site visits for training, and keeping the Cleaning Operations Supervisor informed on service standards and team performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver high-standard cleaning services within your assigned centre, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to scope.
  • Supervise and support team members, including hands-on training and regular site visits to maintain service quality.
  • Monitor team attendance using internal systems and ensure adequate shift coverage, including stepping in when needed.
  • Act as the first point of contact for on-site queries, escalating urgent issues to the Cleaning Operations Supervisor.
  • Manage cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting faults and maintaining stock levels.
  • Follow all City Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

 

Availability Requirement:

  • Monday to Friday, core hours 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with flexibility required up to 11:00pm for training or coverage as needed.


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in the cleaning or hospitality industry
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a small team (leadership experience highly regarded)
  • Confidence in troubleshooting cleaning equipment (advantageous)
  • A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence
  • Ownership of a smartphone (essential for using internal systems)
