Your role and responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Panel Beater / Body Repairer you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our bus fleet at our Randwick depot. This includes:
Assist qualified tradespeople to construct and repair metal bus bodies and trailers, using hand tools and power tools.
Accident repair and fleet refurbishment.
Ensure bus presentation meets vehicle presentation standards.
Identify, report and repair vehicle defects

Junior 1st year pay rate $19.70ph (includes industry allowance)
A monthly rostered day off (RDO)
4 weeks paid annual leave
Training on new Electric Vehicle technology
Free staff bus from Central station in the mornings and afternoons (departure times vary)

Paid TAFE training held at Wetherill Park

The talent you bring:
Must have some proven hands-on automotive or mechanical experience including the use of related hand and power tools.
Must have a current NSW drivers licence (Ps accepted) and be willing to upgrade to HR drivers licence if required.
Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship opportunity including TAFE study at Wetherill Park
Computer literacy with the ability to record accurate maintenance information

Hours of work:
6am-2.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Depot Locations:
The Randwick depot has all day site parking available and is close to public transport (bus and light rail)
Please note that that we have 3 depots (Port Botany, Randwick and Waverley (close to Bondi Junction) and there will be a requirement to work at all 3 depots on a regular basis throughout the course of the 4-year apprenticeship.

WorkPac are seeking Production Operators & Steel Fixing to join our clients production plant in Tamworth, our client who is a leading manufacturer of reinforced concrete pipes based in Tamworth area, must be willing and able to commence as early as 4am & work Monday through to Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities
MIG Welding (Steel Fixing)
Ability to follow repeated manufacture processes under instruction
Assisting with manufacturing a diverse range of precast concrete products
Use of a general range of tools such as drills, grinders etc.
Able to maintain a high level of housekeeping in their work area
Skills and Experience
Previous experience MIG Welding (Steel Fixing)
Interpret manufacturing process
Right to work in Australia
White Card
Must be reliable and keen to learn
Demonstrated focus on safety of themselves and workmates
Must have a good knowledge of how to use a general range of tools - drill, grinder, etc.
The ability to read product and reinforcement designs is preferred however not mandatory.
Must be a team player, yet also have the ability to work independently.

Ensure all equipment and machinery are operated within safety guidelines and kept in good working order and accurate records kept
What will you need:
Demonstrated experience in facility repairs and maintenance and the upkeep of the college and grounds
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively with staff, students, parents and the wider community
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member and at times under pressure, problem solve, demonstrate initiative and devise practical solutions.
