This position requires effective education delivery and assessment within our nursing and health programs.
The position is based in Darwin but may require remote travel to deliver training in Aboriginal Communities in the NT.
This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate who is skilled in Nursing, interested in teaching and perhaps looking for a change.
We are seeking a person who will be committed to education and if they do not hold a CIV in training and assessment will need to gain one with our support.
This position involves face to face teaching, clinical facilitation, curriculum development, evaluation and team validation of units. We will support those new to this role in gaining skills in the above areas or welcome those experienced.
The successful candidate:
shall have a minimum of 5 years post degree/qualification acute care clinical experience,
hold current and full registration with AHPRA
love education and educating,
shall be an exciting, influential facilitator of education, a team player, an excellent communicator and, understand the requirements of a sales culture within a private organisation, Are an excellent advocate for the work you are doing and build relationships well with students and Industry.
will have excellent IT skills,
may have a CIV in Training and Assessment or willing to gain as a supported traineeship or hold post graduate qualifications in education,
Some key elements of the position will be:
teaching students, assessing students, clinical facilitating, curriculum development and relationship building with industry
working as a team member within a small organisation who supports each other and our students
maintaining compliance as required by the RTO in the teaching and learning realm
Opportunities for the successful candidate:
Start in 2025 but have Christmas off (we close for three weeks at Christmas every year) or start January 2026.
This position maybe a part time position for the right candidate.
