VIDA Roads (formerly MRPV) is delivering a massive investment in the state's roads.  We're delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.

The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city - providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.

North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We're also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

  • In consultation with key stakeholders, develop and implement effective stakeholder relations and communications strategies to support the development of the project(s).

  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, stakeholder groups, local councils and the community.

  • Assist in developing responses to media enquiries and events.

  • Prepare and oversee responses to project related correspondence.

  • Provide stakeholder management services to project teams, including issues management, stakeholder relations, media relations, advertising, events, web content and publications.

This role assists the communications and community relations activities across a portfolio of projects within VIDA Roads by providing support and strategic advice on communication and engagement activities. This role liaises with multiple internal and external stakeholders in an issues-rich and complex environment and works within project delivery teams and other teams across the organisation.

About You

  • Strong understanding of public relations, media relations, and reputation management strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.

  • Expertise in managing high-level internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, business leaders, and community groups.

  • Experience in crisis communications and issues management, with a calm and strategic approach under pressure.

  • High proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms, including data analytics and content management systems.

  • Strong understanding of political and regulatory environments and their impact on communications strategies.

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.

About the Role

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Events, Project Management, Marketing, or related field, with 5+ years' experience in delivering diverse, high-profile events
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events and projects end-to-end, including planning, coordination, and meeting deadlines

Opportunity Overview

We’re seeking a Marketing Specialist (Paid Media & Digital Marketing) with an immediate start to join our team on a part‑time basis (22.8 hours per week), with the potential to transition into full‑time as demand grows. This is an exciting opportunity to play a defining role in building and scaling our digital marketing capability.

You will lead paid media and digital marketing initiatives, including campaign management across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, SEO strategy, marketing automation, and performance reporting. You’ll also act as an account manager for key clients, ensuring strong relationships and seamless delivery. While your primary focus will be digital growth, experience with traditional paid media such as magazine advertising and event sponsorships is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media & Growth

  • Develop, implement, and manage paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic display.

  • Build and optimise landing pages and funnels in Go High Level (GHL) or similar platforms (Kajabi, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign) with tracking and attribution.

  • Manage budgets, targeting, and performance optimisation to maximise ROI.

Digital Marketing Communications & SEO

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to support client objectives across paid media, SEO, and content marketing.

  • Lead SEO strategy (technical, on-page, off-page): keyword research, audits, schema, content briefs and backlink initiatives.

  • Create SEO-aligned website copy and marketing content to support campaigns and brand strategies.

  • Provide input or light support for social media content planning when required.

CRM, Automation & Marketing Platforms

  • Operate GHL or similar platforms for CRM pipeline management, automations/workflows, SMS/email campaigns, appointment scheduling and attribution dashboards.

  • Maintain data hygiene, segmentation and lead scoring; integrate with paid platforms and web events.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Implement tracking (GA4, GTM, pixels) ensuring accurate event/conversion setup.

  • Produce monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.

  • Build dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.

Account Management, Broader Marketing and Agency Growth

  • Act as marketing manager for client accounts, owning timelines, scopes and stakeholder communications.

  • Support omnichannel marketing needs to execute annual strategies.

  • Collaborate with the Rehaula team and clients to ensure cohesive, effective campaigns.

  • Play a key role in shaping processes, tools, and best practices as we scale our digital marketing arm.

Required Expertise

  • 3–5+ years in marketing with proven success across digital and traditional paid channels.

  • Proficiency in GHL or similar, CRM, automation, funnels, email/SMS, attribution & reporting.

  • Strong GA4/GTM skills and confidence with data‑driven optimisation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; client‑facing account management in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • B2B experience across industrial and professional service sectors.

  • Familiarity with WordPress/Webflow ecosystems.

  • Agency and account management experience.

About the role:

You will play a key role in executing the trade and content strategy across the website, ensuring a seamless and inspiring customer journey. Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, you will support the implementation of campaign and promotional content across key digital touchpoints, and maintain accurate, up-to-date content across the site to reflect seasonal and commercial priorities.

Working closely with the wider eCommerce team and other cross-functional departments such as Marketing, Buying, and CRM, you’ll be responsible for owning and managing key trading and content functions including daily administrative and reporting activities while also supporting campaign execution, content updates, and optimising user experience that ensure the smooth operation of the digital channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily and weekly analysis on eCommerce KPIs and trading performance by extracting, manipulating, and interpreting data from Excel/Google Sheets to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry and spreadsheets utilising formulas, to ensure trading metrics, reporting, and commercial decisions are based on complete, reliable, and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare and support the delivery of eCommerce KPI reporting and post campaign reviews, turning raw data into clear, actionable insights for the wider team.
  • Execution of trade and seasonal campaigns across key digital touchpoints - coordinating updates across homepage, category, and promotional pages using data-driven insights to guide placements and messaging.
  • Conduct regular competitor, category, and performance reviews to support decision-making and stay informed on industry patterns and digital best practices.
  • Maintain and update product, category, and navigation content within the CMS, ensuring accuracy, alignment with trade priorities, and adherence to complex internal processes.
  • Manage your own workflow across competing deadlines, using project management tools like Asana/Trello and documented processes to stay organised, efficient, and accountable.
  • Collaborate with the wider eCommerce team on initiatives including upselling/cross-selling, product recommendations, and search improvements.
  • Support operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the eCommerce team, including coordinating content briefs, checking site functionality, and ensuring a seamless user experience onsite.
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets capability, including confident use of formulas, data manipulation, and the ability to work with large or complex data sets.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for numbers, problem-solving, and turning data into meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring reports are accurate, content updates follow site guidelines, and all deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce, digital content, online trading, or a related retail environment.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and content management systems (CMS).
  • Comfort working within complex systems, processes, and workflows, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt to evolving business requirements.
