We’re currently partnering with one of the leading Audio Visual Integrators in Australia, based in Perth’s CBD, to find a talented AV System Integrator to join their high-performing AV team.

The AV Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment to support a wide range of meetings, presentations and events. This role ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality audio, video, and multimedia experiences across various platforms and venues. The AV Technician works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions, maintain AV infrastructure, and provide prompt support to minimise disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to ensure smooth operation of AV systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain AV systems, including projectors, displays, sound systems, video conferencing tools, and control equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to understand AV requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of AV equipment and infrastructure.
  • Assist with the integration and testing of new AV technologies and system upgrades.
  • Provide basic user training and support for AV systems and equipment as required. 
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety standards when handling and installing equipment
Core Competencies:
  • 5+ years’ experience in the AV industry, specifically in hands-on installation and system integration roles.
  • Strong experience with Crestron hardware, wiring, integration, and system commissioning (programming experience highly regarded).
  • Proven delivery of Logitech Teams Rooms or other Microsoft Teams/Zoom Room solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience installing LED displays, video walls, and custom AV display solutions.
  • Solid understanding of IT networking fundamentals and network troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in AV cable installation, termination, rack building, equipment mounting, and signal routing.
  • Experience working with AV over IP platforms 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

About the Role

The Melbourne-based Physical security specialist is responsible for day-to-day operations and compliance with the site’s secure zones. This includes physical access management, contractor supervision, system monitoring, incident response, and enforcing security protocols.

The role also contributes to broader ANZ physical security efforts, supporting projects, audits, awareness campaigns, and compliance initiatives. The position operates independently on-site while working closely with key local stakeholders and the ANZ physical security team, reporting to the Australia and New Zealand Physical Security Manager.

The successful applicant will be required work from the Melbourne Office from Monday to Friday. Please note that some after hours calls and meetings will be required for the position.

Key Responsibilities :

Access & Identity Management

· Issue and program access cards, including activation tracking

· Conduct new starter security inductions (access, PEDs, safes)

· Review access logs for anomalies or out-of-hours activity

Security Operations & Monitoring

· Operate and monitor Access Control Systems and Video Management Systems

· Perform daily system health checks and device status reviews

· Conduct mobile phone audits and arming/disarming activity reviews

· Perform regular alarm system tests, panic button checks, and secure zone walkthroughs

· Act as first responder to security incidents and alarms, including after hours

· Investigate and report incidents using approved internal escalation procedures

Compliance, Audit & Reporting

· Maintain and audit visitor logs, key registers, and secure containers

· Assist with internal and external (regulatory) compliance audits

· Identify procedural gaps or risks and propose improvements to the ANZ manager

Stakeholder Support & ANZ Security Initiatives

· Supervise and escort contractors and service providers as required

· Liaise with IT, Facilities, and business units to support secure zone readiness

· Coordinate weekend power shutdowns and generator testing

· Act as local Fire Warden and emergency response contact

· Participate in simulated threat or penetration testing exercises

· Support security awareness campaigns and ANZ-wide project initiatives


Skills, Experience and Requirements:

· Hold an active Australian Government Security Clearance 

· Hold a current VIC Security licence

· Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 and HLTAID010) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)

· Experience in a similar role required
