Plico is looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice who wants hands-on experience with advanced solar + battery systems, backed by real mentoring, consistent work and a clear pathway to becoming a highly capable electrician/SAA qualified installer.

What You’ll Do
Install and commission solar PV, batteries and hybrid inverter systems
Work closely with senior electricians who’ll actually teach you, not just send you up a roof
Take increasing ownership of tasks as you progress
Assist with planning and setting up jobs, ensuring smooth site operations
Maintain safe, tidy, professional sites
Engage with customers respectfully and confidently
Complete your apprenticeship with proper supervision and logbook support
What We’re Looking For
A 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
Keen to learn solar, battery storage and emerging energy tech
Reliable, enthusiastic, with good communication skills
Comfortable solving problems, asking questions and taking initiative
Driver’s Licence + White Card required (Working at Heights helpful)
Previous solar experience ideal but not essential—we train properly
Mature-aged apprentices encouraged to apply
