Qualified Boiler Maker with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Proficient in a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work safely at all times
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical documents to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures
Operate a range of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, Oxy welding and stick welding
Perform cutting etc with oxy/acetylene
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Grounds & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis and take our Racecourse Beach Park to the next level.
In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind keeping our park and facilities looking their best and operating seamlessly. From ensuring everything is well-maintained to making sure every detail works perfectly, you’ll help create an environment that visitors love and enjoy. In this role you will:
Be responsible for the oversite of the STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) and potable water plans for both parks
Ensure safe work practices are followed and promote WHS
Manage and maintain the facilities to the highest possible standards within budgeted overhead costs
Utilise preventative and proactive maintenance strategies
