Flexible Work, NDIS Training, Leadership Mentorship

Are you a values driven Key Worker who wants to be part of something that actually matters?

The Centered Space is expanding across the Central Coast and we are calling in a Key Worker who wants to build a flexible, meaningful role and grow with a company that backs you. This role is based across the Central Coast, supporting families in their homes, schools, communities and online, with the flexibility to structure your week in a way that works for you.

Whether you are newer to the sector or ready for your next chapter, we will support you to rise.

What We Do Differently

Let’s be real. Most places say they offer support. We actually do. Here's how:

  • Full time admin support so you can focus on client work

  • Full time IT support so your systems run smoothly

  • Our in house NDIS specialist trains you every week so you can master the NDIS and advocate at the highest level

  • Fortnightly coaching with the CEO to help you grow professionally and personally

  • Fortnightly supervision with senior clinicians

  • Regular PD, team training and opportunities to shadow SPs and OTs across sessions

  • A culture that feels like family and genuinely cares

  • Real autonomy once you show you can deliver with integrity

  • Work flexibly from home, in the community, at schools or co working days with the CEO in the community

  • Room to bring your creativity and strengths into your role. If you have a passion project or program idea, we want to hear it.

When you show up, we back you fully.

What the Role Involves
  • Acting as the central point of contact for families and providing coordinated early childhood support

  • Helping children build skills across daily routines, emotional regulation, communication readiness, play and early independence

  • Coaching parents and caregivers to implement strategies in the home
Supporting families to understand and navigate the NDIS

  • Collaborating with speech pathologists, occupational therapists, educators and support coordinators

  • Facilitating play based learning and early development activities

  • Building family capacity through modelling, guidance and consistent communication

  • Writing progress notes within 24 hours

  • Contributing to reports and functional updates

  • Sharing videos of your day for our socials if comfortable

Who This Role Is For (and who it is not)

This role suits someone who is self led, dependable and passionate about supporting people.

Someone who genuinely cares and wants to grow within a purpose driven company.

If you need micromanagement, avoid feedback or dislike taking ownership, this will not be the right fit.

If you thrive in a role where you can think creatively, build genuine relationships and support people to unlock their potential, we will meet you with everything you need to succeed.

We Offer
  • Salary between $80,000 and $95,000 including super, depending on experience

  • Choose your schedule across 3 to 5 days

  • Work from home, in the community or by the beach

  • Clear career progression with opportunities to step into leadership

  • Weekly and fortnightly supervision

  • Full training in NDIS, advocacy and working within a transdisciplinary framework

  • A supportive, connected team

  • A workplace that prioritises well being, psychological safety and sustainable caseloads

You Will Need
  • A degree or relevant experience in psychology, social work, human services, disability, teaching or a related field

  • Experience working with children, young people or families

  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

  • A driver licence and access to a car

  • The right to work in Australia

  • A commitment to our values and code of conduct

Nice To Have
  • Experience with the NDIS (or a willingness to learn)

  • Experience supporting neurodivergent people

  • A passion project, interest area or creative idea you want to bring to life

  • Confidence working across early intervention ages or varied needs
