Responsibilities

• Advocate for Early Childhood and Care
• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation or an ACECQA-approved childcare qualification.

• Valid Employee Working with Children Check
• Minimum of 2 years' experience leading and managing an Early Learning Centre.

The Engineering and Energy technical group has the responsibility for operating and maintaining undergraduate teaching labs and facilities along with preparing, developing, designing and constructing experiments. Whether teaching, research or external engagement activities the group manages the technical requirements that service the needs of the University community.


Your New Role!

As a technical officer, you will operate and maintain electrical engineering equipment that supports teaching and research in industrial automation and control, within the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, specifically in the School of Engineering and Energy.

Your key responsibilities will include -

• Deliver and support practical teaching in Industrial Control and Automation Engineering, including preparation of lab materials and equipment
• Maintain and develop technical facilities, equipment, and experiments, while providing expert advice on software tools and systems
• Ensure safe and efficient lab operations, including procurement, documentation, and compliance with WHS standards

What you'll bring to the role:

• Tertiary qualification in Industrial Control and Automation Engineering or equivalent experience, with hands-on work in engineering labs or test facilities
