ABOUT YOU

  • Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
  • You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent

About the Role

As a Professional RPAS Instructor, you'll be at the forefront of delivering accredited training to professionals across diverse industries. You'll foster a safety-first culture, ensure compliance with CASA regulations, and operate Multirotor, Fixed Wing, and Powered Lift aircraft under VLOS, EVLOS, and BVLOS conditions.

While primarily based in Aviassist's Balcatta office, you'll also travel across Australia to conduct training and support the Chief Remote Instructor when not instructing

Essential Criteria

We're looking for someone who brings both skill and heart to the role. You'll need:

  • A genuine interest in the success of others

  • A professional background in aviation (Piloted or Remotely Piloted)

  • Prior training experience

  • A current Driver's Licence

  • Legal right to live and work in Australia

Highly Desirable

While not essential, the following will help you stand out:

  • Instructor rating or Cert IV in Training and Assessment

  • Instrument Rating Exam (IREX) / BVLOS OCTA

About the role

Jungle Zoo ELC is seeking passionate, experienced and qualified Early Educators to join our team in Whitsundays, QLD. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our early learning center. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development and wellbeing of young children.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing engaging, play-based learning programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

  • Observing and documenting children's progress to inform individualised learning plans

  • Fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children

  • Maintaining effective communication with families and collaborating with the wider team

  • Ensuring a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment

  • Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve practice

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification

  • Demonstrated experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in a long day care setting

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator is required

  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and pedagogy

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and education

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications

  • All required certifications must be current at the time of application

  • Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check

  • Applicants of any Australian work authorisation status will be considered

ABOUT YOU

  • Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
  • You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Ochre Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Availability between 6:30 am-9:00 am & 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
