Bakers Delight Gymea is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Bakers to join the Bakery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight.
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by inspecting equipment cleanliness and premises before production begins.
Evaluating the quality of raw materials and measuring ingredients.
Performing tasks such as kneading, maturing, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry products.
Preparing fillings for pastries.
Monitoring oven temperatures and assessing product appearance to determine appropriate baking times.
Coordinating the various stages of bread, roll, and pastry production, including forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling.
Applying glaze to buns and pastries and using cream and icing to decorate cakes.
Operating machines that roll, mold, and cut dough, as well as cut biscuits.
Cleaning and lubricating baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment, and ensuring they are ready for use.
To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria
Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 2am)
Work in a fast-paced team environment

Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor
Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
Have an eye for detail

About the role
Cryotech Mechanical is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in our Logan Central, QLD location. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning systems (90% Ref/10% AC). As a key member of our skilled trades team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' cooling systems are functioning effectively and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Install, maintain and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with cooling systems
Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks
Work closely with customers to understand and meet their needs
Provide excellent customer service and technical support
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and processes
What we're looking for
Formal trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic
Extensive experience (minimum 2-5 years) working as a Refrigeration Mechanic in the commercial and/or industrial sectors
Strong technical skills and a sound understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety
A current driver's licence with clean record
