Maintenance Boilermaker Wetherill Park

We are recruiting on behalf of our leading client, a highly respected manufacturer based in Wetherill Park, known for quality, reliability, and continuous improvement across their Australian operations.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Boilermaker to join the team.
This role is vital in maintaining and improving plant reliability through fabrication, repair, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will:
•Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on process equipment, pipelines, pumps, and plant structures.
•Fabricate, modify, and repair components and equipment in line with engineering drawings and Australian standards.
•Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs, including after-hours callouts when required.
•Assist in the development and improvement of maintenance strategies to enhance plant reliability and uptime.
•Conduct fault finding and diagnosis, recommending effective repair or replacement solutions.
•Maintain accurate maintenance records and updates in the MEX CMMS system.
•Work collaboratively with Fitters, Electricians, and Production teams to minimise downtime.
•Uphold strict WHS standards, ensuring permits and risk assessments are completed before work commences.
•Participate in planned shutdowns and overtime work when required.
About You
•Trade qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or equivalent).
•Proven experience in a maintenance and fabrication role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•Strong welding and fabrication skills with a commitment to quality and safety.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
•Sound understanding of WHS compliance and safe work practices.
•Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (MEX preferred).
•Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
