South West Healthcare is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Theatre Technician to join our Perioperative Services team. Our highly skilled operating theatre team works collaboratively with various clinical services to deliver safe, high-quality care and positive outcomes for our patients.
As a Theatre Technician, you will play a vital role in the dynamic operating theatre environment. Key responsibilities include preparing the operating room and equipment, assisting with patient preparation, and ensuring the maintenance and safety of surgical equipment and spaces.
This 12-month traineeship provides comprehensive training to achieve a Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Support. It combines hands-on experience with dedicated study time, equipping you with the technical and interpersonal skills required to work under the supervision of nursing staff, anaesthetists, and surgical teams.

About the Role
Due to continued growth we now have an opportunity for an experienced Forklift Field Service Technician, with energy and passion to deliver the best result for the business and our valued customers. Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
Onsite servicing, diagnosis + repairs, pre hires and off hires on all our equipment.
Being responsible for delivering a high level of service to our customers specialising in our range of forklifts, telehandlers and access equipment covering breakdowns, fault finding and servicing.
Confidently communicating with customers to assess their service requirements
Onsite forklift Maintenance and Service, fault finding.
Demonstrating your knowledge and expertise in regard to forklifts
Develop and maintain your technical knowledge of products and equipment through continued training.
About You
As an integral part of our business you'll bring a strong work ethic, easy going personality along with:
Relevant trade qualifications (Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)
Experience with servicing and diagnostics of Forklift equipment or mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components is required.
Current Forklift licence & full Australian Drivers' license - use of a company vehicle is required
LPG Qualifications highly regarded
Safety focused mindset is paramount.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Good verbal communications skill and the ability to use them appropriately at a variety of levels.

The Role
Due to the increase in sales, we require Boilermakers in our Corbould Park factory. Reporting to the Supervisor of the Engineering section the ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated to learn, works well in a team environment, enjoys physical tasks and exhibits attention to detail needed for our high-quality finished products.
Attributes required:
Trade qualified (Cert 3 Engineering Trade or Sheet Metal)
Proven welding experience – must be prepared to undergo a weld test

About the Role
The Maintenance / Handyperson plays a key role in ensuring the upkeep and presentation of the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane Congregation’s properties — including shared living houses, the congregation office and holiday properties.
This hands-on role combines practical maintenance skills with sourcing quotes and the coordination of tradespeople and contractors. You’ll also assist with planning and delivering larger maintenance and capital projects, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across multiple properties (Predominately Brisbane, with some travel to holiday properties on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast as required).
Perform a range of tasks including carpentry, painting, basic plumbing, garden and grounds maintenance, and small-scale repairs.
Source quotes, schedule contractors/trades, and oversee work to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost control.
Coordinate and maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Support larger capital expenditure (CapEx) and property improvement projects.
Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
About You

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing and inspection of fire protection systems to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations. What you'll be doing
Systematically test and inspect fire protection systems, including fire panels & detection, fire sprinklers, passive fire, and portable fire equipment
Identify, document and escalate defects or issues with the systems, providing detailed reports

Liaise with other key business functions to develop accurate rectification quotes
