Inside Edge Collective was founded by two serial entrepreneurs who built and scaled their own companies — and got fed up with agencies that couldn’t deliver. We started IEC to fix that: a small, elite team of A-player operators helping trade-based businesses scale with real execution and real results.
Six months in, this is our first onshore hire — a ground-floor opportunity to work directly with the founders, make a tangible impact on IEC’s growth at a critical stage, and carve out a career path loaded with long-term upside and genuine progression.
We’re searching for a Marketing Specialist to take full ownership of two core growth engines inside IEC:
(Priority) CRM & VOIP Development — Full ownership across HubSpot and Aircall delivery across both IEC and client accounts; build, optimise, automate, and report.
Social Media Management Operations — run the team, own the plans, and ensure every client’s feed runs with clarity, consistency, and purpose.
This role blends creative marketing leadership with deep technical execution. You’ll work directly with the founders to keep our delivery sharp, scalable, and commercially lethal.
Lead all client SMM retainers: strategy, content planning, creative approvals, scheduling, and reporting.
Manage the internal delivery team (designer + social admin) with full accountability for output and deadlines.
Approve all copy and creative to ensure tone, visuals, and narrative align with brand strategy.
Report monthly on engagement, growth, and ROI impact.
Build, customise, and optimise clients’ HubSpot CRM: pipelines, workflows, integrations, properties, reports, and dashboards.
Implement, optimise and manage clients’ Aircall VOIP systems: routing, IVR trees, call tracking, and integration with HubSpot.
Handle CRM migrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
Oversee internal IEC HubSpot development.
Work directly with the founders on client strategy rollouts and process development.
Deliver weekly status reports across SMM and CRM/VOIP projects.
Identify automation opportunities and efficiency gains across the delivery ecosystem.
Super-driven - thrives on ownership, urgency, and high standards.
Dedicated to their craft - obsessed with detail, quality, and impact.
Growth-minded - constantly learning, testing, and applying new ideas fast.
Innovative - unafraid to push boundaries, take smart risks, and drive creative improvement.
Career-focused - hungry for a role that builds long-term opportunity, not just experience.
Minimum 3+ years as a Marketing Specialist or equivalent (mix of agency & in-house preferred).
Strong expertise in CRM setup, optimisation, and automation (HubSpot heavily preferred).
Experience with VOIP systems setup, routing, IVR, integrations (Aircall heavily preferred).
Good understanding across all areas of marketing; funnels, paid performance media, organic, and automation ecosystems.
Proven ability to manage small teams or cross-functional delivery pods.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.
HubSpot | Aircall | Monday.com | Meta Business Suite | Google Ads | Loom | Canva | Google Workspace | Zapier/Integrately
Experience with these (or equivalent) platforms will give you a head start.
For the right candidate, and to the individuals preference, this role is designed to evolve into a Senior Growth Specialist & Marketing Manager role. If you deliver excellence and drive measurable results, you’ll grow with the company - fast.
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 AUD
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hrs / week)
Location: Remote (Brisbane preferred). Onsite office hybrid 3+ months into tenure.
Reports To: Co-Founders/COO
Start Date: Immediate
Certified HubSpot Partner & Aircall Partner training & access to advanced resources.
Direct exposure to high-velocity client accounts across critical trade industries.
Deep mentorship from senior founders with real-world operator experience.
A performance culture that rewards speed, excellence, and ownership.
If you’re ready to join a high-accountability environment and build systems that actually scale businesses - we want to hear from you.
