Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be a key player within our large Rooms Division team, overseeing the daily operations and knowing what conference & events are happening around the resort, managing the front office team and interacting with guests and other departments. Your key responsibilities for the role include:
Lead, supervise and support the rooms division team, including receptionists, concierge, reservations & leisure attendants
Respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints promptly and professionally
Ensure smooth and efficient reception service and procedures, including checking in/out large groups
Monitor room availability and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
Assist in managing reservations and room assignments, using PMS Opera
Assist with rosters, training, coaching and mentoring team members

What you’ll need to be successful
Full availability and flexibility to work a rotational roster incl weekends & public holidays eg. 6.30am-2.30pm, 2.30pm-10.30pm & 10.30pm-6.30am
Previous front office supervisory or management experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort, or similar environment
Proficient in MS Office & PMS, Opera desirable
Current drivers licence, and hold/be eligible to obtain a Qld WWCC Blue Card, RSA, First Aid & CPR
People leadership skills in training, coaching and developing teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
Knowledge of medical, emergency evacuation and fire procedures

The skills and attributes we are looking for
2+ years of proven working experience in a customer service role. Experience in a corporate boardroom, function centre, airline or high-end restaurant environment is highly regarded

Professional appearance and demeanour suitable for high-end corporate client interactions
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise

About the Role:
The Catering Assistant and Kitchenhands play a vital role in supporting the overall well-being of residents by contributing to their dining experiences. They help create a welcoming atmosphere during mealtimes and work diligently to ensure that residents receive nourishing and enjoyable meals tailored to their individual needs.
The ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to high standards of work while providing considerate, person-centred care to our residents.
Our shift times are: Monday to Sunday: 7am - 11am, 7-1:30pm and 4pm-7pm.

Key Responsibilities:
