A hands-on leader who supports daily operations, team mentoring, and guest experience. You’ll help drive culture, compliance, and performance.
$80,000–$85,000/year + tips + bonuses depending on experience
Bar Manager
Aori’s beverage program is central to its identity, and we’re looking for a creative, technically skilled Bar Manager to lead it. You’ll design and execute a cocktail list that’s both refined and expressive, train staff in service and product knowledge, and manage stock and supplier relationships. Deep understanding of sake and whisky is essential, along with a passion for storytelling through drinks. Wine knowledge is a plus.

What You Will Do
Assist guest with valet service including safe parking and retrieving of guest vehicles.
Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
Greet and escort guests to rooms.
Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services).
Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area.
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.

We're on the lookout for a passionate and capable Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at Paperbark Camp – a unique role that goes beyond just running a restaurant.
As the face of our afternoon and evening experience, you'll be welcoming both in-house guests and diners, making sure everything flows seamlessly through dinner service. When the other Duty Managers are off, you'll be responsible for the whole camp – keeping things humming and guests happy.
More than anything, we're looking for an enthusiastic lover of hospitality who wants to drive our mission of "enhancing people's lives by delivering thoughtful experiences that reconnect them with nature". This role could suit both permanent resisents and travellers but we are asking for a minimum 6 month commitment. Opportunities for career progression and possible move to full-time employment after 6 months.
Temporary accommodation provided & assistance provided to find longer term accommodation solution, own transport strongly recommended.
Key Responsibilities:
Running the afternoon and evening dinner service
Creating and serving cocktails and assisting guests with wine selection
Liaising with kitchen to ensure smooth service and all guest requirements are communicated

Managing reservations and guest inquiries
Maintaining restaurant policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry and passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences. A strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure will put you in good stead. Creating a great working environment, supporting the team and knowing you've created a special moment for our guests will be a motivating factor for this role.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory role in a high quality restaurant or similar setting
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Solid cocktail and drink making experience as well as some knowledge and interest in Australian wines.
