The award-winning Peninsula Hotel Motel is searching for a Full Time Venue Manager to join and lead our busy venue and passionate team.
Our mid-century inspired venue features multiple dining spaces, expansive bar, accommodation, bottle shop, sports bar, TAB and gaming room.
A competitive salary with opportunities for career progression is on offer. We are searching for an individual with previous experience and who possesses the following attributes:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry is essential
Strong gaming, bar, food skills and hospitality knowledge
Have a proven operational understanding in all facets of hotel operation
Experience in all day to day running of a hotel including cash balance, stock control, rostering and cellar operations
Passion for hospitality, team player, superior customer service and a leader
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and be a positive management representative of the hotel
Awareness of OH&S legislation and the ability to create a safe environment for both staff and customers
You must possess current RSA, RSG and RP qualifications
Experience in accommodation operations and Bepoz POS a bonus
Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster
