About the role

We are currently seeking motivated Production/Process Workers to join our food manufacturing business in Dudley Park. With plans for growth, we are looking for candidates who are team players and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Accurately completing production records and documentation

  • Performing relevant quality checks

  • Batching and preparation of ingredients

  • Setting up production equipment and ensuring it is in good working order

  • Manual handling and lifting

  • Manually packing products into cartons

  • Assisting with warehouse duties

  • Adhering to food safety and GMP policies and procedures

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment through regular cleaning of the processing area and equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate a B-Double FH Volvo with tanker trailers

  • Collect bulk waste oil from Adelaide, Laverton and Bendigo and dispose of at SOR- Wagga Wagga

  • Follow approved routes and load to verified load plans

  • Be able to complete paperwork accurately and neatly – NHVR work diary, run sheets.

  • Follow JJ’s Policies, Procedures and comply with HVNL at all times

  • Report defects accurately and in a timely manner

  • Monday- Friday with occasional scheduled Saturday or Sunday work

ABOUT YOU

  • Have a current Multi Combination licence and be experienced in operating MC line haul

  • Previous bulk liquid/ tanker experience - highly regarded

  • DG licence - highly regarded

  • Be able to work productively with operations staff, customers and other driving team members

  • Consistent commitment to safe work practices

  • Work to weekly schedules provided by operations team

  • Travel away for up to 4 nights at a time - Be willing to work 12-14 hours per day

The Role
  
We have permanent full-time positions available in Castlemaine on both day and afternoon shifts. Both shifts include rostered days off, with afternoon shifts receiving additional penalty rates.
 
Rosters available:
  • Day Shift: Approximately 5:00 am to 3:00 pm — Starting pay rate $24.58 per hour + RDO (subject to availability)
  • Day Shift: Approximately 6:00 am to 3:00 pm — Starting pay rate $24.58 per hour + RDO
  • Afternoon Shift: Approximately 3:00 pm to Midnight — Starting pay rate $24.58 per hour + 15% penalty + RDO
Your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in meat processing, including tasks such as packing, slicing, lifting, pushing, pulling, holding, and carrying

About the business

Booth Crane Truck Hire is a family-owned business with over 30 vehicles in our fleet, we are currently recruiting to fill existing vacancies. Our business has held multiple contracts with BlueScope Lysaght for over twenty years and is a stable employer looking for long-term permanent employees to work with our team.

Based in Archerfield we deliver steel building products in Southeast QLD and have a modern and well-maintained fleet of crane trucks.

About the role

This is a permanent position delivering steel building products.

You will be required to unload steel building products with a truck mounted crane at either our customers sites or their stores. You will also be required to manually unload some of these products as part of the unloading process.

The ideal applicant will have experience and be licensed to operate a Palfinger (or similar) remote operated crane. However, this is not essential and we are willing to train the right person.

Being physically fit would be an advantage as the role involves some manual handling.

The take home wage can range between $1,500 to $1,800 depending on the number of hours worked per week.
