The successful applicants need the following skills and experience:

  • Some carpentry experience

  • The ability to read and understand measurements and material cutting requirements.

  • You will be working as part of a team, but must be able to work efficiently without supervision when required.

As a key member of our Road Transport team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of plant and equipment to our customers across Melbourne.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate a heavy rigid (HR) vehicle, including a tilt tray tuck, to deliver plant and equipment to job sites

  • Load and unload plant and equipment at customer locations

  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients to coordinate efficient deliveries

  • Conduct pre-start checks and maintain the vehicle to a high standard
