About the role
Complete Hire Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver (HR - Tilt Tray Plant & Equipment) to join our team in Altona North, VIC. As a key member of our Road Transport team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of plant and equipment to our customers across Melbourne.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate a heavy rigid (HR) vehicle, including a tilt tray tuck, to deliver plant and equipment to job sites
Load and unload plant and equipment at customer locations
Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients to coordinate efficient deliveries
Conduct pre-start checks and maintain the vehicle to a high standard
Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety procedures
Assist with general warehouse & workshop duties as required
What we're looking for
Hold a current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
Previous experience operating tilt tray and other heavy vehicles in a delivery or logistics role
Minimum 6 months of tilt tray operating experience required
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients
Excellent attention to detail and a focus on safety
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Forklift licence or other relevant plant tickets would be highly regarded
Australian work rights are required for this position
