My Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager who has a strong background delivering Tier 1 projects. 

The Role:

  • Responsible for the full cycle of the Project from planning and inception to commissioning and handover.
  • Work with the team to define the project scope.
  • Lead and manage the Project Team
  • Agree contract terms, costings and manage suppliers/sub contractors
  • Sign Correspondence, ITP's, Checklists and documentation relevant to quality, safety and program
  • Work on government and commercial sites 
Experience:

Previous experience in a Technician/Senior Technician role and has transitioned into a Project Manager in his career would be a bonus
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing electronic security projects, including installation, commissioning, and client handover.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high client satisfaction standards.
  • Familiarity with electronic security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarms) and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

JV Recruitment are currently searching for a Team of x4 Carpenters and x4 Skilled Trade assistants for a Modular based role based in Essendon.  The Duties will focus on constructing Modular pod studio homes which will be then shipped out to various locations across Australia.

The pods will be made primarily from Timber; with timber framing and bound using Metal brackets all constructed on-site. The next process will involve the basic fit-out of the pods using pre-fab materials.

This project will be ongoing for a minimum of 18 months and the shift pattern will be 7am-3.30pm with optional overtime till 5pm each time and Saturday works both frequently and optional.

Due to a large increase in work load there is huge potential for overtime in both role types available which will be paid at the relevant award rate.

Carpentry based roles will be expected to have full Carpentry Tool kit to perform their role. 

Trade Assistant roles will be expected to have a minimum of basic power tools and hand tools to perform their role.

The client in question will be looking to move on workers Full-Time on their books after a 3 month period - So this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at one of Australia's largest National Modular Companies.
