You'll be working in beautiful City Centre offices, surrounded by a team that we can genuinely describe as "lovely." They are patient, encouraging, and specifically looking for someone they can help develop over the next six months.
If you have a foundation in bookkeeping or audit and are ready to take the next step in a supportive government environment, we want to hear from you.
As an ASO3 Finance Officer, you will play a key role in keeping the department running smoothly. You won't be thrown in the deep end; instead, you'll be guided through:
General Bookkeeping: Managing daily financial records with accuracy and care.

Experienced in the basics: You have some hands-on exposure to bookkeeping or audit/compliance work.
Public Sector Aware: Previous experience in government is ideal, but if you come from the private sector with a strong desire to serve the public, we welcome your application!
Detail-Oriented: You take pride in accuracy and love a well-organized spreadsheet.
A People Person: You want to work in a team where kindness and communication are just as important as technical skills.
Mentorship: This is a rare opportunity to be trained by managers who genuinely care about your career progression.
City Location: Enjoy the convenience of working right in the heart of the CBD-perfect for after-work catch-ups or lunchtime shopping.
Work-Life Balance: Enjoy the stability and structured hours that come with a top-tier public sector role.
