We have a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in Darwin. Reporting to the Civil Team Lead, you will have an opportunity to work on and manage civil design projects including roads infrastructure, subdivisions and remote community facilities. About the role
This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design, construction documentation and supervision. The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management.
The role will suit will an experienced Civil Engineer with Australian experience, someone who has good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills over a range of projects.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Civil design and project management across a wide range of projects
Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters
Adhering to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.
Managing clients and other consultants.
Assist with project management and business development.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and documentation
Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and Territory requirements
Obtain CP Eng and NT Registration as soon as eligible
Eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance

The Firm: An Australian owned commercial furniture supplier to both corporate and government sectors throughout Australasia has a new opening in the workshops area for a Drafts Person/Planner to coordinate quotes and convert drawings to cutting lists and create shop drawings.
The Role:
Prepare quotes for Workstation tops and joinery products.
Prepare drawings in Autocad and Woodwop. Training can be given on Woodwop.
Feed HOMAG CNC machinery and send cutting patterns to the HOLZMA saw using Cut Rite.
Prepare drawings and CNC programmes.
Hands on project / order intake and planning job to achieve project timelines.
Skills and Experience:
Your background needs to be from the Joinery/Cabinet Making Manufacturing sector.
Good working knowledge of CNC/ERP/MRP/EXCEL.
Have good time management and the ability to work on o many diverse tasks at one given time.
Have good customer liaison experience and an excellent 'can do' attitude!

The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team at Berkley Insurance Company. This role blends the responsibilities of Technology Operations and Automation Engineering, making it ideal for candidates with strong on-premise experience, particularly in SQL database support, scripting (PowerShell, .Net), and automation.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining robust enterprise systems across our infrastructure. You’ll contribute to operational reliability, system administration, and automation initiatives that support our secure and highly available technology environment. What You’ll Be Doing
Database Support: Partner with our DBA team to maintain and enhance MS SQL environments.
Champion Automation: Design and support automated workflows, job scheduling, and DevOps tooling to boost efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Environment Management: Administer and support a range of systems including ERP platforms, core business applications, and Atlassian tools.
Performance & Reliability: Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability across environments.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and network teams to deliver seamless, scalable solutions.
Documentation & Process Improvement: Keep our tech playbooks sharp and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Secure Deployments: Participate in change management and deployment activities with a focus on governance and compliance.
Audit & Reporting: Support regulatory, compliance, and audit reporting requirements.
The successful candidate
Essential:
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years’ hands-on experience in Infrastructure engineering or systems administration
Solid technical skills across Windows environments
Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and administration and backup processes
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
Experience with managing and supporting ERP systems and business-critical applications
A natural problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired:
Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure) with relevant certifications
Automation frameworks, and monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Foglight)
Understanding of Atlassian tools, SDLC, ITIL or similar service management frameworks
