Salary: up to $180k +

Projects: Energy Infrastructure & Defence Infrastructure (33kV, 66kV, & 132kV, including Substations, Solar Plants & BESS).
We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Brisbane to join the national HV Design & Power Systems team and take on the role of technical lead for major national projects, some valued at up to $100 million.

We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Brisbane to join the national HV Design & Power Systems team and take on the role of technical lead for major national projects, some valued at up to $100 million.

- Provide HV systems modelling, grid connection studies, protection studies, earthing designs, and technical advice/designs for private HV networks, solar farms, and battery energy storage systems.
- Produce technical documentation, specifications, and datasheets for electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, protection & control systems).
- Manage relationships with AEMO, DNSPs, and TNSPs.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering).
- CPEng or eligibility to obtain.
- 6 + years’ experience in HV design.
- Proven capability with power system modelling tools such as ETAP, PowerFactory, or PSCAD.
- Experience in earthing design and simulation software (e.g., CDEGS).
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards.
