About the Role
Join the team as the Structural BIM Manager, where you’ll lead the implementation of backend and frontend BIM systems for high-profile projects with tier-one builders, developers, and architects. Rather than inheriting someone else’s setup, you’ll be empowered to build best-practice workflows from the ground up. This is your chance to shape our clients' BIM and CAD environment, ensuring robust quality assurance for every project. What You’ll Do
Set up and manage initial BIM processes and templates
Produce Structural Revit models and documentation for commercial buildings
Lead the integration of Revit and CAD for structural projects
Take ownership of systems implementation and continuous improvement
Drive best practice in digital engineering and quality control
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and specialist teams
Ensure streamlined delivery across multiple large-scale developments
Automate workflows or scripting tasks (bonus)
About You
10+ years’ experience in Structural drafting, 5+ in Revit
Structural drafting background, in a Melbourne consultancy
Demonstrated structural portfolio of local commercial buildings
Proven experience across both backend and frontend phases of BIM/Revit/CAD
Strong skills in setting up systems for quality assurance
Previous content creation exp; families, libraries, templates, etc.
Ideally scripting experience (Dynamo, Python, or similar)
Confident working with tier-one clients and leading systems change
Ready to step up, take ownership, and drive innovation
Perfect for someone already in a similar role, or keen to step out from the shadow and lead
