About the Role

The Professional Development Lead is a key member of the Nursing & Midwifery Education Unit leadership team at Grampians Health. This role is responsible for planning, organising and implementing evidence-based professional development programs to build capability within the nursing and midwifery workforce. You will oversee orientation, mandatory training, regional education initiatives and SIMVAN, while supporting the functionality of the Grampians Learning Hub.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional development programs.
  • Coordinate Nursing & Midwifery orientation and mandatory training.
  • Apply the Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment (BPCLE) framework.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning needs.
  • Facilitate the Grampians Learning Hub functionality.
  • Develop education programs aligned with funding and workforce initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, manage resources, and support direct reports.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of programs.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and contribute to governance, accreditation, and funding submissions.
Skills & Experience
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (no conditions).
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Education or Training (Management desirable).
  • Extensive experience managing clinical education programs.
  • Strong clinical, operational, and leadership background.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and high-level report writing ability.
  • Knowledge of health service operations and curriculum development, including simulation.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Northern Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) team across Gawler and Kapunda. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred midwifery care, supporting women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period within a collaborative MGP team. ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated MRI specialist with the ability to supervise a team.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in MRI Radiography
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven experience in liaising with key stakeholders

The role balances assessment and short-term intervention, with an emphasis on therapeutic work, measurable clinical outcomes and functional recovery. You’ll see around six clients per day, supported by a modern telehealth platform, AI-driven systems and comprehensive admin support that looks after bookings and billings, so you can focus on your clients rather than paperwork.

You’ll work mostly online, with some in-person sessions, in a hybrid arrangement of roughly two days per week in the CBD office and the remainder from home. You’ll also have access to structured supervision, monthly leadership conversations, and clear development pathways in an organisation that values quality, collaboration and ongoing professional growth.

Your Duties will Include
  • Deliver high-quality psychological care to adults recovering from work-related and motor vehicle-related psychological injuries within chronic injury schemes.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, brief evidence-based therapy and treatment planning for around 6 clients per day, with reduced emphasis on lengthy report-writing.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (including Exercise Physiologists and other mental health professionals) while enjoying autonomy over your clinical practice.
  • Work in a hybrid model, combining telehealth from home with approximately two days per week in a Sydney office/clinic.
Requirements/ Skills
  • Experience in private practice and/or compensable injury settings (Workers Comp, motor vehicle accidents or similar).
  • Experience working with chronic psychological injury and functional recovery is highly preferred, including familiarity with insurer and referrer stakeholders.
  • Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (General or Clinical), with SIRA registration or eligibility to obtain it prior to commencement.
