We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist to join our podiatry clinic in Hornsby. You have a healthcare reception and admin background. About You

  • You love speaking to patients and your communication style is warm and welcoming

Key Requirements

Role Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team at Armstrong Creek Doctors . In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical clinic and assist our patients and other visitors. Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, collecting patient co-pays, processing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. ·       Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records with appropriate scanning, faxing and filing of all documents.

·       At all times maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information.

·       Complete recalls.

·       Support the day to day operations of the medical centre.

·       Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.

Selection Criteria:

·       Demonstrated ability to work in a team

·       Experience with Medical software (BEST PRACTICE/MEDICAL DIRECTOR)

·       Demonstrated strong organisational and problem solving skills

·       Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, including multitasking

About the Role:

The Registered Mental Health Nurse plays a vital role within the Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Centre, delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families, and communities. This role champions holistic wellbeing by blending clinical expertise with community-led and traditional healing approaches. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, cultural leaders, and external partners, the Registered Nurse helps ensure care is truly responsive to the needs, strengths, and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in community and/or acute mental health, ideally with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

  • Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating procedures and working within multidisciplinary and community-led teams.
  • Deep understanding of cultural safety, trauma-informed care, and Aboriginal health frameworks, including key reports and declarations.

Eligibility:
