We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated nurse to join our team at Bacchus Marsh Medical Centre, Maddingley Medical Centre and Darley Medical Centre.
Previous experience in General Practice as a practice nurse and also experience in doing care plans and health assessments is desirable.
Previous experience with Best Practice software is desirable.
There will be variety in the role including the following:
- Recalls and stock controls including vaccines
- Vaccinations and childhood immunisation
- Wound management and plastering
- Care Plans, Health Assessments
- Clinical support
- Patient history enhancement
- Participation in accreditation
- Infection control
- ECG, Spirometry, Cryotherapy and Ear Suction
- Aged care
Essential
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current medical indemnity insurance
- Current Australian driver’s license and willingness to use own car when required
- Ability to deliver quality clinical care with a positive patient care focus
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate confidentiality with patient and clinical information
- Ability to multi task
The position will be permanent part-time, 32 hours per week, non-negotiable.
