As Operations Manager you will drive operational excellence in the delivery of the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) and the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) programs by leveraging innovative business solutions to manage timetabling and resource allocation, ensuring financial viability and compliance with educational qualification outcomes. Working in close collaboration with educators and support staff, you will align operational processes with curriculum requirements and training schedules. Additionally, you will oversee the achievement of contractual revenue targets and key performance indicators for the SEE program, applying data driven insights to monitor performance, implement remedial actions and drive continuous improvement against negotiated benchmarks.
The position is primarily based at our Southport Campus and is a Fixed-Term, Full-Time opportunity to 26/06/2026 with possibility of extension.

What You’ll Do
As an F-35 Flight Instructor, you will:
Serve as an F-35 Pilot SME, maintaining expert weapons system knowledge.
Deliver simulator-based training using the FMS and IOS.
Support pilot training, tactics development, and squadron force generation.
Prepare and reset training spaces and conduct student instruction and assessments.
Contribute to lesson updates, scenario design, and training improvements.
Provide Force Application support and assistance to all F-35 Squadrons.
What You Bring
Essential:
Minimum RAAF Category B Qualified Flying Instructor, Operational Flying Instructor, Fighter Combat Instructor, or U.S. Air Force equivalent on 4th/5th generation fighters.
1,000+ hours fighter flight time on 4th and/or 5th generation aircraft.
Desirable:
Experience flying the F-22 or F-35.
Combat operations experience on a 4th or 5th generation fighter.
Expertise with advanced sensors (e.g., targeting pods, HMD systems).
Leadership experience as Flight Commander, Duty Flight Commander, or in operational planning.

Reporting to the SMS Finance & Reporting Domain Lead, you will lead the development of a reporting strategy, automate operational and business intelligence reporting, and ensure data integrity across the student lifecycle.

Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting strategy for the new SMS.

Lead reconciliation and gap analysis of reporting requirements across domains.
Design and build reports, dashboards, and templates using tools such as Power BI.
Build and optimise complex SQL queries and data warehouse models.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.
Provide documentation, training, and post-go-live support for reporting tools.
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or related field, or extensive experience in similar roles.
Strong experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and star-schema modelling.

Proven ability to develop and publish Power BI dashboards and reports in an enterprise environment.
