About the Role

The Attendance Officer plays a critical role in supporting student engagement and success by ensuring accurate attendance monitoring and fostering strong connections between the school and families.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring daily student attendance, generating reports, and sharing updates with school leaders and teaching staff.
• Communicating with parents/carers to verify absences and support strategies to improve attendance.
• Collaborating with student support teams to identify barriers to attendance and assist with early intervention strategies.
• Maintaining accurate attendance data in OneSchool and managing records for students with complex circumstances.
• Providing general administrative support, including assisting at the student counter and managing timetable variations.
