About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Team Leader to join our Nursery space at Rise Early Learning Camperdown. You'll lead a team of Educators; collaboratively supporting the learning and development of the children entrusted to your care. Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Well developed understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Flexible, adaptable and available for full-time work all hours/days the service is operational
• ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or can be working towards, depending on course progress
• Strong proven Team/Room Leader/Lead Educator experience (essential), ideally with babies (highly desirable), with a true passion for engaging with this age group. Degree qualified Teachers are not required, and therefore will not be considered at this time
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).

Your New Role!

We are currently inviting applications for four academic positions in Education: Two Lecturers, one Senior Lecturer and one Associate professor.


As our newest passionate educator-whether as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Associate Professor-you will contribute to high-quality teaching, impactful research, and meaningful service within the School of Education.

• Lecturer (Level B): You will support the teaching efforts of the Discipline through lectures, tutorials, and other learning activities. You will supervise honours and postgraduate students, contribute to scholarly research and professional expertise in your field, and perform a range of administrative and service functions within the College and across the University.

• Senior Lecturer (Level C): You will actively contribute to the school's strategic development, with a particular focus on the domestic regeneration strategy. This includes curriculum development and coordination, and engagement with schools and pipeline partners. You will teach, conduct research, supervise PhD students, and foster internal and external collaborations, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining networks and relationships.

• Associate Professor (Level D): You will demonstrate academic excellence through high-quality research with national and/or international impact. You will contribute significantly to postgraduate supervision and play a leadership role in university administration. This position requires strong engagement with industry and external stakeholders to advance the interests of the Discipline and the University. You will also make a substantial contribution to teaching activities within the school, and to broader College and professional initiatives.

Your New Role!

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Exercise Science to join our team. In this role you are expected to contribute to the research, teaching and service/leadership requirements of the School and University. Your appointment to Level C or D will depend on your ability to demonstrate research activity, contemporary teaching practices and service/leadership experience commensurate with the appointment level.

You will be expected to coordinate units, develop and deliver both lectures/workshops and hands-on laboratory classes and manage assessments. In addition to teaching, you will have the opportunity to conduct impactful research in physical activity, sport or exercise focusing on athletes, healthy individuals, or clinical/older adult populations. It is also expected that the successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to produce high quality and competitive grant applications. Active participation in committees and working groups, contributing to the wider discipline and university community will also be expected.

What We’re Looking For

These roles can be combined for the right candidate or separate. We are looking for passionate early childhood educators to join our team.

About the Role:
As the Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). This role involves guiding a team of educators, fostering strong relationships with children and families, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

As the Educational Leader, you play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and the centre’s philosophy. This role supports and mentors’ educators to improve pedagogical practices, ensuring children receive meaningful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. This role has 7.5hrs planning ensured, with 1 full day off the floor.

These roles are great opportunities for experienced early childhood professionals to step into leadership positions.

About You:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).

• Experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting (2IC, Educational Leader, or Room Leader preferred).

• Strong knowledge of childcare regulations, compliance, and best practices.

• Experience using childcare management software (Xplor, Storypark, or Educa).

• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Passionate about early childhood education and supporting team development.

About the role

We are seeking passionate teachers (current or retired), and pre-service teachers, to join our team of educators who work with students at our learning centre in Drouin.

We have exciting opportunities available in the following areas:

• Secondary Tutor - Maths

Candidates may also have the opportunity to facilitate school and kinder incursions with us if they are interested.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Tutors spend 60 minutes with their students engaging them in their area of expertise. Tutors work with the same students each week during school term dates to build the relationship and support their learning.

• Cover curriculum in line with student learning in the classroom

• Creatively use resources provided by STEM Zone.

• Face-to-face tutoring on-site and can be flexible with some online tutoring if illness/COVID19 prevents onsite attendance for tutors and/or students. This is on a case-by-case basis. 

• We do not offer remote tutoring. Staff tutor at our centre in Drouin, VIC.

• We value your input, and welcome your creative contributions to our programs. 

• STEM Zone is open from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and weekends by appointment.

• Current teachers will have their VIT registration.

• Pre-service teachers and retirees will have their WWCC

• Current Working with Children Check is desirable but can be obtained before starting the role.
