About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Team Leader to join our Nursery space at Rise Early Learning Camperdown. You'll lead a team of Educators; collaboratively supporting the learning and development of the children entrusted to your care. You’ll work in an innovative, age-appropriate environment where the RIE approach is embedded into daily practice, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere. Working closely with leadership, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum and care while building strong family partnerships.

Please note this role will be based at our brand-new second campus, located directly next door, once it opens as part of our expansion. In the meantime, rest assured you’ll have guaranteed work at our well-established original Camperdown service (Campus 1).

• Interest in and/or passion for paired with a drive to embed the RIE approach into everyday practice
• Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service
• Motivation to build and maintain positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Well developed understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Flexible, adaptable and available for full-time work all hours/days the service is operational
• ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or can be working towards, depending on course progress
• Strong proven Team/Room Leader/Lead Educator experience (essential), ideally with babies (highly desirable), with a true passion for engaging with this age group. Degree qualified Teachers are not required, and therefore will not be considered at this time
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).

Excitingly, we are currently expanding our Camperdown campus, which is due to open within the coming month/s. This will increase enrolment capacity and create new opportunities for professional growth, leadership, collaboration, and enriched learning environments for both children and Educators.
