We are seeking a fit and reliable groundsman to join our Redcliffe based Arborist service. ***All travel is within 25 minutes of Redcliffe.
Experience is not essential but preferred.
The chosen Candidate will work Monday to Friday 730am to 330pm with the occasion early finish or overtime.
Every job is different so this role isn’t repetitive or boring. There is also opportunity for the right applicant to progress within the role.
Basic duties of the role include; Assisting the arborist and fellow crew, checking fuels, reporting on maintenance, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly and operational, dragging green waste, chipping green waste, raking and blowing down yards. These are shared tasks between a crew so the candidate will need to be able to work well in a team environment.
We are a family run business with 15 years of operation and a good reputation in the local area. We have a friendly drug free crew of 5-10 each day and a stable work load. Pay rates are based on experience and role suitability.
The candidate must be fit, reliable, and capable of thinking on their feet. A current drivers license and transport is preferable for this role.

Our Traineeship ProgramOur industry-leading traineeship combines on-the-job training with in-house classroom learning, leading to a Certificate III in Pest Management. Training is delivered by our dedicated Training Manager in our own training facilities and is recognised by TAFE and overseen by ApprentiCentre to ensure national accreditation.
Initial training is fully supervised, progressing to a Provisional Licence, and ultimately a full licence issued by the Pesticide Safety Division of the WA Health Department.
The full qualification typically takes 12–14 months to complete.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
A current WA driver’s licence (manual preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong reliability and punctuality
Ability to work independently

Physical fitness to work in subfloors and roof spaces
