About this position

The External Works Engineer role manages external development on the State Road network in the Loddon Mallee Hume region. The role assesses and approves civil design proposals from developers, Councils and service authorities. The role then oversees the subsequent construction of approved designs ensuring good outcomes on behalf of DTP. This construction oversite includes creation of construction agreements with third parties, instructing surveillance staff, contributing to resolution of construction issues and finalising asset handovers.

Position accountabilities

  • Review engineering design of road assets ensuring quality outcomes and compliance with DTP standards.
  • Seek design review advice from specialist DTP internal teams.
  • Consolidate design review comments and work closely with third parties to influence designs through to approvals.
  • Develop construction agreements with third parties to ensure that assets that DTP will inherit are built to DTP standards and specifications. This will include development of testing and inspection point plans.
  • Work with developers to ensure plans to manage traffic during construction are realistic, safe, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with, and provide instruction

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are seeking Expressions of Interests from experienced Qualified Aircraft Technicians / Maintainers to support the Australian Army Apache capability.  This unique opportunity to retrain to the Apache platform offers candidates an opportunity to work on the world-class attack helicopter systems, with comprehensive classroom and practical instruction, competitive remuneration, and clear career progression within a high-performance defence environment. 

Successful candidates will be considered for current and upcoming opportunities to maintain, service and support Apache rotary-wing aircraft in an Australian Defence environment. These roles will be co-located with the Australian Army in Townsville, in Tropical North Queensland. 

Applicants will need to hold or be able to obtain a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML). This EOI covers all categories of the MAML (A3, B1.3, B2 and C).

As an Aircraft Technician / Maintainer at Boeing you will:

  • Assist the Team Leader with workplace assessments to support team readiness.

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) or equivalent trade qualification (ie Diploma) in support of maintenance on rotary wing aircraft.
  • MAML with A3 Category

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are seeking Expressions of Interests from experienced Qualified Aircraft Technicians / Maintainers to support the Australian Army Apache capability.  This unique opportunity to retrain to the Apache platform offers candidates an opportunity to work on the world-class attack helicopter systems, with comprehensive classroom and practical instruction, competitive remuneration, and clear career progression within a high-performance defence environment. 

Successful candidates will be considered for current and upcoming opportunities to maintain, service and support Apache rotary-wing aircraft in an Australian Defence environment. These roles will be co-located with the Australian Army in Townsville, in Tropical North Queensland. 

Applicants will need to hold or be able to obtain a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML). This EOI covers all categories of the MAML (A3, B1.3, B2 and C).

As an Aircraft Technician / Maintainer at Boeing you will:

  • Be an integral member of the Australian Apache capability, delivering safe and effective maintenance and support.
  • Ensure work does not proceed past inspection checkpoints until inspected and authorised by the supervisor.
  • Complete all assigned tasks and any ancillary activities required to deliver work packages.
  • Accurately complete technical documentation and reports; annotate documentation to confirm work meets specified requirements as authorised by the Responsible Manager and record entries in the Competency Log Book where required.
  • Prioritise personal and subordinate tasks to meet team goals and timeframes.
  • Assist the Team Leader with workplace assessments to support team readiness.
  • Propose and implement improvements to team performance and maintenance processes.

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) or equivalent trade qualification (ie Diploma) in support of maintenance on rotary wing aircraft.
  • MAML with A3 Category
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, prioritise and work to tight timeframes with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated success in developing effective working relationships within a complex organisational structure.
  • Sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures and documentation.
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
  • Experience using Technical Manuals/Publications to repair aeronautical products and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and technical directives.

If successful with your application, we would expect you to attend:

  • Apache Aircraft familiarisation: typically 1 week.
  • Apache type course (if required by customer) typically 6 weeks.
  • Army Aviation familiarisation: likely 2 weeks.
  • Working at Heights qualification.
  • May require a period of On-Job Education (OJE) within a Part 145 environment to achieve all Task Sign Off privileges — duration to be determined.

Opportunity available for a highly experienced and accredited RPEQ Electrical Engineer with specialised expertise in hazardous area environments for an exciting site based role. This is a key opportunity to drive major electrical projects within a safe and dynamic power generation environment.


Key Responsibilities:
• Lead electrical design efforts, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Develop detailed scopes of work (SOW) and provide accurate project estimates
• Support project phases from planning through execution, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions

Ideal Candidate Profile:
