About the team
We are looking for a high-performing senior communications professional / leader to join the Marketing & Strategic Communications team within the Department of Customer Service.
The team is a high-functioning group of professionals focused on providing overarching communications strategies for business units across the Department of Customer Service.
The Strategic Communications works collaboratively and cohesively with a variety of communications teams (marketing & campaigns, media, brand, social media and video, stakeholder engagement and internal communications) to achieve cohesive and highly effective strategic communications for the agencies we service.
This role supports agencies including Safework NSW, Building Commission NSW, Revenue NSW, Service NSW and more in achieving communications objectives.

The Marketing Coordinator, Interstate works with the Interstate Marketing Manager, to implement marketing campaigns that will deliver against agreed marketing objectives and calendar of activity for the SATC’s domestic target markets.
This 12-month, full-time role is offered on a non-executive contract at a salary classification of ASO4 ($76,561.00 - $80,256.00).
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing activities are integrated and leveraged to their full potential.
Participate in the planning and development of marketing strategies and annual marketing plans.
Contribute to the preparation of creative and media briefs.
Prepare campaign and project plans and associated documents such as budget breakdowns and timelines ensuring they are executed on time and within budget.
Work with the Events Marketing team to incorporate South Australian Destination brand and content into our owned and sponsored events.
Coordinate the execution of all production requirements for domestic marketing campaigns.
Ensure strategic and creative work maintains a high standard with the appointed Creative Agencies.
