Multiple Design Engineering Roles | Land Development

We’re recruiting across several levels for a truly superb consulting group that’s stood the test of time.

If you’re in land development design engineering (anywhere from 3 to 23 years’ experience), we’d love to hear from you. We’re open to unicorns - and the budding ones too.

Current Opportunities
  • Principal – Design Lead
Lead strategic design on key projects and a team of 15 design engineers. A meaty role, and one of only a handful like it in Melbourne.
  • Associate – Design
Lead projects, not people. Perfect if you’re technically sharp, love problem-solving and want to stay hands-on.
  • Senior Civil Design Engineer
Grow your career under respected technical mentors. There’s a clear path here, and people who’ll help you get there.
  • Civil Design Engineer
Ready to learn? You’ll have support, mentoring and exposure to great projects from day one.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree +/- post grad qualifications
  • Greenfield and brownfield land development experience (ideally in Victoria)
  • Competence in 12D within a commercial setting
Why you’ll love it here
A suburban, family-friendly business with genuine flexibility. Great office space, on-site parking, and a skilled admin, IT and marketing crew who make your job easier. Senior staff with young families get it, and they’ll support your juggle too.

A superb place to grow your career and still have balance.

Project Engineer – Master Planned Communities

Our client is seeking a career-driven Civil Project Engineer to step into a newly created role within their growing construction team. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you’ll act as second-in-command, providing strategic oversight over multiple large master-planned community projects across South East Queensland.

This isn’t a typical site-based role. With site engineers handling day-to-day delivery, you’ll be focused on strategy, approvals, processes, and driving contractors to deliver on program. It’s the perfect role for an experienced civil engineer who wants to step up, broaden their influence, and move closer to the client side – while still staying connected to delivery.

Who is the Company

Our client is a privately-owned consultancy with over 40 years of success in shaping Queensland’s most prestigious master planned communities. They are respected for doing things differently – focusing on quality, long-term outcomes and relationships rather than short-term wins.

Unlike working with a contractor, this consultancy offers balance as well as challenge. You’ll work a professional 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends and no being sent away from home for weeks at a time. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and built for growth – where initiative is recognised and career paths are supported.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Civil Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be someone who is both politically astute and hands-on – able to represent the business professionally to councils, clients, contractors, and local residents, while also driving programs on site.

To be successful you will bring:
  • Bachelor Civil Engineering with 5–10 years’ construction experience within urban development or civil infrastructure projects across South East Queensland
  • Strong site-based experience, able to push programs forward
  • Knowledge of construction approvals, contracts and processes
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ambition to grow into management and influence not only projects but the wider business
What is on offer
This is a career-defining opportunity to join a highly successful business at a pivotal stage of growth. You’ll enjoy:
  • A true consultancy environment: 38-hour week, no weekends, no FIFO/DIDO
  • The chance to work closely with an experienced Construction Manager on landmark projects
  • Strategic influence across multiple developments – not just one site at a time
  • A clear pathway into senior leadership as the construction team grows
  • An opportunity to build your career with a respected business that values quality and people over shortcuts
